Southampton have unveiled British sports and fashion retailer JD Sports as their round sponsor for the 2022/23 Premier League season.
The one-year deal will see the retailer’s logo feature on Saints’ sleeves throughout the next campaign, with the deal also including the club’s academy sides. JD has struck similar deals with Leeds and Brighton in recent years and was Norwich’s sponsor in the 2021/22 campaign.
The new partnership sees Saints fill in the inventory vacated by Virgin, who have been the club’s round sponsor since the 2019/20 season, by paying £1.2m ($1.45m) a year .
