job description

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will implement UNIFIED Music Group’s corporate brand strategy to successfully position us as an employer of choice in the entertainment, technology and fashion industries.

The role will work closely with the People and Culture Manager to deliver key elements of the internal employee experience as part of the People Of UNIFIED strategy.

The role will be responsible for UNIFIED Music Group’s digital content, asset development and voice for internal and external brand communications.

This Marketing and Communications Coordinator will also support the UNIFIED Artist Management and UNIFIED Touring and Events (Festival) divisions to deliver projects as needed.

Key tasks

Create meaningful employee engagement with thoughtful internal communications:

  • Work with the People & Culture team to create and distribute resources for internal announcements, internal events and internal programs

  • Work with the People & Culture team to collect content, create and distribute the UNIFIED Times quarterly digital newsletter

Successfully position UMG as an employer of choice within the wider industry:

  • Manage the UNIFIED Music Group website, providing regular content updates for Careers and News pages

  • Implement social media management systems and oversee all major UMG social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter

  • Design assets for digital campaigns, following UNIFIED brand guidelines

  • Work with Communications Partner and People and Culture Manager to help approve corporate announcements and press release copy

  • Support key leaders to create their own LinkedIn profiles and provide copy for major announcements

  • Conduct monthly UNIFIED Marketing Alliance meetings, administer notes and track goals/results

  • Work with People & Culture Manager to execute digital campaigns for industry initiatives

Support key UNIFIED projects for HQ services:

  • Support the stakeholder group to deliver the quarterly UNIFIED UPFRONT, in conjunction with the UNIFIED Artist Management and UNIFIED Recorded Music divisions

  • Distribute incoming brand partnership requests for artists as needed

  • Work with Red Hill Entertainment’s festival operations team to help set up festival partnerships on the ground during the festival season (October 2022 to April 2023)
