A FASHION GURU has shared the fashion essentials needed to make you look expensive while staying on budget.

The video insists that fashion is sometimes all about accessories and how you pair them.
The pieces of clothing featured in the video show that you can take any outfit from dull to fabulous with the slightest effort.
“Hi kids. It’s me, your rich mom, sharing with you five cheap things that look expensive,” she says at the start of the video.
Trendy pieces range from chic dresses to comfortable sandals.
Lim can be seen wearing layered gold jewelry, a black shirt and a black blazer over it, looking effortlessly expensive.
Although she lives lavishly, wears designer labels and attends high fashion events, the self-described wealthy mother says she likes to bargain bargains.
The first item of clothing she tries on is a puff-sleeve faux leather A-line dress from the Who What Wear collection that only cost her $30.
A dress in a similar style can be found at Target for $35.
“This dress looks like it could cost between $300 and $500,” she adds.
The next item she shows off is a black, short-sleeved, shawl-collar blazer, $29.99.
There are certain features of the cheap blazer that make it look worth more than it is.
“Cheap things usually look cheap because they have no structure or silhouette,” says the buyer.
She claims the light padding on the shoulder makes it look straight, which makes it expensive.
This is something important to note when buying.
The third fashion item to grace the screens is a pair of black strappy Scoop heels that were just $18.
“The silhouette is on point. It’s simple. It’s elegant,” she says in voiceover as she models the shoes onscreen.
The next piece of clothing she shows off is a Prospect the Label women’s strapless midi dress, which she paid just $24 for.
“I usually say don’t use prints because prints can easily look cheap, but this one is well done,” she says.
She continues to share more fashion hacks regarding the beautiful figure, especially how the ruching at the end of the sleeve gives her a tailored look.
She ends the video detailing her clothing purchases by pulling out two sets of cute summer sandals also from Scoop.
Matching crocodile print shoes are shown in black and white.
