International fashion star Jay-Manuel features 12 top Canadian designers and their vision for a cancer-free future to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Twelve brilliantly talented designers from all over Canada unveiled their one-of-a-kind and breathtaking visions of a breast cancer-free future in a one-of-a-kind show of original sewing – all crafted entirely in soft and luxurious NEW and improved Cashmere UltraLuxe bathroom tissue sheets. Breast Cancer Awareness Month Annual October Launch
More than 240 top Canadian designers participated in the Cashmere collection, which is now celebrating its 19e year. Produced by Kruger Products, maker of Cashmere toilet paper, from Canada best-selling brand, it serves as the annual kick-off to October Breast Cancer Month.

“It is a joy to celebrate a new normal in Canada after more than two years of confinement”, declares Susan Irving, CMO Kruger Products. “The Cashmere 2022 collection pays tribute to our ever-changing lifestyle and the perseverance shown by Canadians as we adapt to our environment with empathy and compassion. Our Heavenly Awakening honors fashion with compassion and all-Canadian creativity.

“It is specifically designed to raise public support and funds needed for breast cancer awareness, prevention and treatment programs through our long-standing partnerships with the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) and the Cancer Foundation. within Quebec (FSQC). Over the years we have raised millions of dollars to support the breast cancer cause,” she said.

Canadian Artistic Director and Runway Producer Erika Larva has led the collection since its debut in 2004. She is joined this year by designer Lisa Williams, who makes her Cashmere Collection debut.

Calling all Canadians
The 19e The annual Cashmere collection invites all Canadians to join and support the cause of breast cancer by participating in this year’s Cashmere Vote Couture for the Cure® at CashmereVoteCouture.com – where Canadians are invited to vote for their favorite design and Cashmere will donate $1 (up to a maximum of $15,000), CCS and QBCF on behalf of the winning designer. Voters will also be registered for a chance to win a $1,500 cash prize.

Throughout the month of October, twenty-five cents from the sale of each limited-edition pink pack of Cashmere Ultraluxe bathroom tissue goes directly to breast cancer efforts, up to a maximum of $65,000.
