Balenciaga expands ‘The Lost Tape’ with Fall 2022 campaign

Still reigning as one of the hottest brands in the world, Balenciaga has unveiled its new Fall 2022 campaign. The new campaign expands on “The Lost Tape” theme that encapsulates the brand’s 90s-inspired collection.

Specifically, the theme defends the fashion ideas of this period while presenting “a message from the past about what could have been and never was”. The new campaign is the first iteration of a multi-part campaign and features singer Aya Nakamura, in addition to models Bella Hadid, Kit Butler, Zuo Chen, Abdou Diop, Inti Wang and Lina Zhang. Photographed by British artist Nadia Lee Cohen, the images reflect the seductive and sultry styles of early 90s advertising.

The campaign features upcoming pieces like three-piece jeans, bathrobes, shrunken tops, distressed trench coats, low-rise pants and more. Garments in the collection are complemented by pieces like the Crocs bag, XX bag, hourglass bag, digger boot, Kensington mule, five-pocket ankle boots, a range of jewelry and more.
