Amal Clooney slips into thigh-high boots and a Stella McCartney knit dress as she heads for the train with George Clooney in New York

George and Amal Clooney were the goals of a laid-back fashion couple as they moved around New York. The celebrity couple were spotted making their way to New York City train station on their best afternoon ever.

Amal wore a white ribbed knit sleeveless turtleneck dress by Stella McCartney, paired with black Christian Louboutin thigh high boots with red trim around the sole. She coordinated the look with a white shoulder bag and accessorized with a pair of oversized cat eye sunglasses. Her only splash of color was her cell phone, which she held in a peach phone case.

George wore a black polo shirt with slightly faded jeans and a pair of gray chukka boots with yellow laces. In his hand he carried both a book and a black leather jacket. It’s that time of year when the easy on and off jacket is a necessity, with the temperature fluctuating with the recent arrival of fall. Clooney accessorized with a chain-link watch on his left hand and a pair of blue-tinted aviator sunglasses as he walked arm-in-arm with Amal through New York City.

George prepares to promote his movie, “Ticket to Paradise”, a romantic comedy where he stars alongside Julia Roberts as a couple trying to stop their daughter from marrying who they believe is the wrong man. When Amal is out of town with her husband George, she works hard as a guest lecturer and senior researcher at Columbia Law School, where she teaches human rights law.

Since marrying George in 2014, Amal has quickly become an internet celebrity favorite. She is known for wearing clothes from top designers, including Ermanno Scervino, Zac Posen, and Oscar de la Renta.
